WomenUN is a global movement dedicated to uniting women's voices and amplifying their impact through shared narratives. We champion gender equality and women's empowerment, aligning with the United Nations' mission and goals.
Our work is guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the principles of the UN Charter. We support and collaborate with UN Women, global partners, governments, civil society, and individuals to:
- Design innovative solutions.
- Advocate for policies.
- Deliver programmes that truly benefit Women and Girls.
- Pro UN: To Support, Strengthen and Optimize the existing UN system and its partner entities.
- Leadership and Participation: Women lead, participate, Share their Narratives, and benefit equally.
- Economic Empowerment: Women have income security, decent work, and economic autonomy.
- Ending Violence: All women and girls live free from violence and eventually lead ending the global violence.
- Sustainable Peace: Women contribute to and influence building sustainable peace.
